Sunday and the Juicy-ness of Vellum
Sunday was definately a lot more laid back than the rest of the week and my little guy and I decided to have some art time with the scraps of vellum left over after covering some of the windows for winter and .... wow! It was so juicy to color, draw, marker on and so much fun!
Highly recommended for some free-flowing doodling fun on a snowy winter afternoon! The the best part though is that after all your masterpieces are complete you can then hang it in a window so the light filters through highlighting your artwork! I doodled a monkey and an elephant and my little man experimented with a shark, a lady and some random colour - all hail washable Crayola markers!

Winter Wood
Just finished stacking some more winter wood - nothing like trying to do so in the cold and the dark. But with the help of my honey I'm up to almost three cords of wood so hopefully that will see me and my little guy through the chillier upcoming nights. After all this winter prep it wil be lovely to have some more free time to get some fun and creative ideas flowing into fruition again - the knitted scarfs might have to first on the list though ;)

Long time no blog ...
Hello all ~
I know it has truly been ages since I last blogged in and so have resolved myself to improving enormously in this area and pick up, if not where I left off, then somewhere along the road. The new intent and scope of the blog will include a much broader range and organic mixture than it's original brainstorming bubble idea and I hope it will delight and entertain all those who accidentally happen upon it's pages. Mungee-grove originated out of a tiny spoken moment in time and so will reflect more of my everyday life - in all it's small and fantastic glory. I'm happy to be back (and have finally remembered my login password!) so expect more posts and more pics from me in the future.
Cheers everyone ;)
